Hello friends!
Archivistique 45 is live!
I don't think I've ever done a text intro to an image archive in these last 10 years but alas, the time has come. It’s my goal with some newly found freedom to make regular posting a thing again. Most of my freelance creative work has been put on hold or cancelled during the global pandemic. The truth is, if I didn’t have to rely on money to survive in this crazy world, I’d be posting these a lot more frequently..
So it seems like, for the next few months, I've got all the time in the world to devote to the blog again. . and I’ve came up with a few ways you can help out if you'd like to see regular posting continue.
I am starting a patreon linked here for folks who want early access to archive posts and several other exclusives that will be created only for patreon. Support starts at just $1.00. I'm still learning the platform but it seems like a great place to use my extra creative energy to develop special projects for supporters.
Additionally, through my shop, Mask Santa Fe, I will be releasing products made for each Archivistique starting with a vintage westernwear themed tote bag. SOLD OUT with proceeds going to the St. Elizabeth shelter in Santa Fe.
My charity based incense company, West Alameda, has created a scent pack specifically for TINN. It includes Juniper, Cedar, Pinon and Palo Santo and smells like heaven, all for $11.11. Profits will go to a charity that I’ve been donating with for the past two years called The Navajo Water Project. They do amazing work providing potable water to the Navajo nation, which is especially crucial during this pandemic.
Although I'm in a tough spot these days, I consider myself very lucky. In times of panic, the instinct is to close in the walls and fixate on protecting yourself, but I hope we can all come together to do more to help the most vulnerable during this crisis.
Lastly, If you’ve found any inspiration from these Archivistiques in the past 10 years of posting, anything from a simple share or like would help a lot. I’d love to create image posts for as long as possible and as frequently as possible if I can be blessed with a little support from you. Feel free to share questions or ideas in the comments. I hope that you all stay safe, and maybe these posts can help make being stuck inside a little easier. Together we can help each other to get through this one step at a time.
Thank you, sincerely.
